TauzandTerms of Use
Last updated on 8 October 2026
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding and enforceable covenant between you and Origin, the proprietor and operator of the Platform accessible at https://www.Tauzand.in/ together with every associated mobile site, browser extension and application (the "Platform Owner", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing, browsing, registering upon or otherwise utilising the Platform in any manner whatsoever, you affirm that you have perused, comprehended and consented to be bound by these Terms of Use. Should you dissent from any stipulation herein, you are required to discontinue your utilisation of the Platform forthwith.
These Terms of Use are to be read harmoniously with the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy, each of which is incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any irreconcilable inconsistency, the provision more specifically addressed to the matter in question shall prevail.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your access to, or utilisation of, the Platform in any manner signifies your acknowledgement that you have perused, comprehended and consented to be bound by these Terms of Use, which govern your access to and utilisation of every service, feature and item of content made available thereupon.
Acceptance extends to every category of User, including casual visitors, registered Users and subscribers, irrespective of whether an account has been established. Your continued utilisation of the Platform subsequent to the publication of any revision shall constitute your continuing acceptance of the Terms of Use as so revised.
Where you access or utilise the Platform on behalf of an organisation, company, educational institution or other juristic entity, you represent and warrant that you are duly authorised to bind such entity to these Terms of Use, and references herein to "you" or "User" shall thereupon encompass both yourself and the entity so represented.
Any contravention of these Terms of Use may occasion the suspension, restriction or termination of your access, as elaborated in the sections hereinafter. Acceptance of these Terms of Use is an indispensable prerequisite to the lawful utilisation of the Platform.
2. Purpose and Character of the Platform
The Platform is conceived to furnish informational and facilitative instruments pertaining to career development and technical preparation, including the discovery of employment and internship opportunities, resume analysis, compatibility assessments, cover letter generation, data structures and algorithms preparation, project-based internship programmes, and curated content concerning the technology sector.
These Services are designed to assist Users, but are not, in any respect, a guarantee of any specific outcome, employment opportunity or professional result.
3. Eligibility
You must have attained the age of eighteen years, and possess the legal capacity to contract, in order to utilise the Platform independently. A person below that age may utilise the Platform solely under the supervision, and with the verifiable consent, of a parent or lawful guardian, in the manner prescribed in the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
Access to certain features may necessitate the establishment of an account. You undertake to furnish information that is accurate, contemporaneous and complete at the time of registration, and to rectify the same expeditiously upon any alteration.
4. Stewardship of Accounts
You bear sole and exclusive responsibility for preserving the confidentiality and security of your authentication credentials, including your username, password and any other information associated with your account. Every activity conducted through your account shall be deemed to have been undertaken by you, whether or not authorised, and it is incumbent upon you to ensure that access thereto is confined to yourself alone.
You shall adopt reasonable precautions to protect your account, including the employment of robust passwords, the non-disclosure of login particulars, and the termination of sessions upon shared or public devices. Upon becoming cognisant of any unauthorised access, suspicious activity or potential compromise, you shall notify us forthwith so that appropriate remedial measures may be instituted.
We shall not be answerable for any loss, detriment or unauthorised activity occasioned by your failure to safeguard your credentials, including loss of data, misuse of features, or actions undertaken by third parties who obtain access to your account through negligence or improper security practices. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict any account exhibiting indicia of misuse, compromise or security risk.
5. Permitted Utilisation and Proscribed Conduct
You shall access and utilise the Platform exclusively for lawful purposes, in strict conformity with these Terms of Use and with every applicable local, national and international law and regulation, and in a manner that neither infringes the rights of any person nor impairs the normal functioning, performance or security of the Platform or its underlying systems.
The Platform may be utilised solely for its intended purposes, namely personal career development, technical preparation, resume preparation and lawful job discovery. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following activities are strictly proscribed:
- Attempting to obtain unauthorised access to any account, server, network or system.
- Uploading or distributing malware, viruses or any other harmful or contaminating code.
- Deploying automated bots, scripts, crawlers or scraping instruments without our prior written permission.
- Impersonating any individual or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any individual or entity.
- Disrupting the Services, degrading the experience of other Users, manipulating features, or imposing an unreasonable burden upon our infrastructure.
6. User Content
Users may submit material such as resumes, textual inputs, career preferences, application particulars, code and project work for the purposes of analysis, content generation or the utilisation of other features. You retain full ownership of all such material. By submitting it, however, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to process, analyse, store and display the same solely for the purpose of rendering the Services you have requested and of ameliorating the functionality of the Platform.
This licence confers upon us no ownership of your material, and does not permit its utilisation for marketing, resale or public distribution without your explicit consent.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your material is accurate, lawful, complete and original, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, contractual or other rights of any third party. We do not independently verify, monitor or endorse such material, and we reserve the right to remove, restrict or delete any material that contravenes these Terms of Use, applicable law or our policies.
7. Resume Analysis and Generated Outputs
Resume analysis scores, compatibility assessments, insights and generated cover letters are produced by automated systems, algorithms and artificial intelligence models which evaluate the information you submit against predefined parameters and data-driven heuristics. Such outputs are purely informational and facilitative, intended to illuminate how your resume may align with general industry expectations.
These outputs are not a substitute for human judgment, professional counsel or the evaluation of a recruiter, and they do not represent the opinion or decision of any employer or hiring organisation. Their quality is necessarily contingent upon the quality and completeness of the information you provide.
We do not warrant that reliance upon such outputs will culminate in interviews, offers or employment. You are earnestly advised to review, amend and verify all generated content before deploying it in any application, and you acknowledge that ultimate responsibility for your application materials and career decisions reposes solely with you.
8. Employment and Internship Listings
Listings displayed upon the Platform may be derived from publicly available information, third party websites, employer career pages or internal curation. Whilst we endeavour to present relevant and timely opportunities, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, availability or legitimacy of any listing, the particulars of which, including role, eligibility, compensation, location and deadline, remain subject to alteration by the respective employer without notice.
We do not act as an employer, recruiter, staffing agency or hiring intermediary, and we do not participate in screening, interviews, negotiations or hiring decisions. Every interaction between Users and employers occurs outside the Platform and is solely the responsibility of the parties concerned. You are encouraged to undertake your own due diligence and to verify every opportunity upon the employer's official website.
9. Third Party Hyperlinks
The Platform may contain hyperlinks to external websites and services which we neither control nor endorse, and for whose content, policies and practices we bear no responsibility. Access to such resources is undertaken entirely at your own risk, and you ought to peruse their respective terms and policies before engaging with them.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality and materials available upon the Platform, including text, software, source code, user interfaces, layouts, visual design, graphics, logos, icons, images, data structures, algorithms and documentation, are the exclusive property of the Platform Owner or its licensors and are protected under the laws of copyright, trade marks, patents, trade secrets, databases and every other applicable proprietary right. The names, branding and logos of the Platform may not be used, copied or imitated without our prior written consent.
You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, publish, display, sell, license, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from any part of the Platform, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without our explicit written authorisation. Any unauthorised utilisation may provoke legal proceedings, including claims for damages and injunctive relief. Nothing herein shall be construed as conferring, by implication or otherwise, any licence beyond that expressly necessary for the lawful utilisation of the Services.
11. Deletion of User Data
Upon a User electing to delete their account, we initiate a permanent and irreversible deletion process. Access to the account is disabled immediately upon confirmation, and the User shall thereafter be unable to log in or recover any stored data.
The deletion encompasses profile information, uploaded resumes, generated content such as analysis reports and cover letters, usage history and associated preferences. Such data is removed from active databases and, where applicable, scheduled for removal from backup systems in accordance with our retention and security practices. Residual copies may subsist temporarily within secure backups, but shall not be accessed, processed or restored for any purpose, and shall be overwritten within a limited retention period.
Deletion is final and cannot be reversed. Users are strongly advised to download any information of importance before proceeding. Deletion may be deferred where any grievance, refund, chargeback or investigation remains pending, as more particularly described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Administrative Prerogatives and Prohibited Content
We reserve full administrative authority to monitor, restrict, suspend or terminate access so as to sustain a safe, lawful and respectful environment. Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, sharing or attempting to distribute any content that is unlawful, offensive, harmful or abusive, including explicit or intimate sexual content, pornographic material, harassment, hate speech, or content that violates the privacy or dignity of others.
Users shall likewise refrain from introducing malicious software, automated bots, scripts, malware or viruses, and from exploiting vulnerabilities or abusing features. Upon the detection of any such activity, administrators may act immediately and without prior notice, including by way of permanent suspension, deletion of data, restriction of access or banning from the Platform. Such measures are within our sole discretion, and reinstatement is not assured.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS FURNISHED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the Platform functions seamlessly and that its information is accurate and current, we do not warrant its completeness, accuracy, reliability, availability or suitability for any particular purpose, nor that it shall be uninterrupted, secure or free from error. Temporary interruptions may arise from maintenance, updates, system limitations or events beyond our reasonable control.
The Platform does not furnish professional, legal, financial or hiring advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim every warranty, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and it is incumbent upon you to evaluate the suitability of the Platform for your individual requirements.
14. Internship Programme
The Platform offers a structured, project-based internship learning experience which permits participants to undertake assigned projects, cultivate practical skills and receive a certificate of completion upon the successful fulfilment of programme requirements. Participation does not constitute employment, partnership or any contractual hiring relationship with the Platform Owner, its proprietors or affiliated organisations, and is furnished solely as an opportunity for skill development.
Each participant may be assigned a project or learning task relevant to the selected domain, and shall complete the same independently and submit it through the designated submission system before the prescribed deadline. We reserve the right to review submissions for completeness, authenticity and compliance with programme guidelines before approving certification.
Participants shall not submit plagiarised, copied, automatically generated or third party work which they do not own or have permission to use. Submissions violating academic integrity, intellectual property rights or our policies may be rejected, and repeated contraventions may result in suspension or permanent exclusion from the programme.
15. Project Submission and Evaluation
Completed projects shall be submitted exclusively through the official submission process provided upon the Platform, accompanied by such materials as evaluation may require, which may include documentation, code repositories, reports, design files or demonstration links, depending upon the nature of the assigned project.
Submissions may be reviewed through automated checks, manual verification or internal evaluation to determine whether minimum completion requirements are satisfied. Approval is predicated upon demonstrable work related to the assigned task and adherence to submission guidelines. We may reject, or request the revision of, any submission that is incomplete, invalid, unrelated to the assigned project or suspected of infringing intellectual property.
Deadlines may be determined by reference to the selected internship duration. Failure to submit within the designated timeframe may result in the expiration of the internship session or necessitate reapplication for a fresh programme cycle. Approval decisions arrived at through our evaluation process shall be final.
16. Issuance and Verification of Certificates
Upon the fulfilment of internship requirements and the approval of the submitted project, participants may become eligible for a digital certificate of completion, generated only after all applicable verification and processing steps have been concluded.
Certificates acknowledge the completion of the internship programme and the associated learning activities, and may bear the participant's name, internship domain, duration and a unique verification identifier by which external parties may confirm their authenticity through our verification facility.
We reserve the right to revoke, invalidate or suspend any certificate procured through fraud, misrepresentation, plagiarism or any contravention of our policies. Any attempt to modify, falsify, duplicate or misuse a certificate may result in permanent suspension and, where applicable, legal proceedings. We do not warrant that any certificate shall be recognised by any particular employer, institution or organisation.
17. Internship Participation and Responsibility of Participants
Participants shall engage with the internship programme in a responsible, lawful and ethical manner, and shall ensure that all information furnished during application, including personal particulars, academic information and project submissions, is accurate and truthful.
Participants are responsible for managing their own learning progress, completing assigned tasks and securing their accounts. Sharing credentials, circumventing programme restrictions, exploiting functionality, or submitting automated content intended falsely to represent project completion is strictly prohibited. We may monitor usage, submission patterns and system interactions to detect misuse, and may thereupon suspend access, revoke eligibility for certification or terminate participation.
18. Gratuitous Character of the Internship and Academic Status of Certificates
The internship programme, together with the evaluation of projects and the issuance and verification of certificates, is furnished entirely free of charge. The Platform Owner does not levy, and has never levied, any enrolment, registration, processing, certification, administrative or other fee of any description in connection with any internship.
Any solicitation of payment in connection with an internship, by whomsoever made and through whatsoever channel, is unauthorised, does not emanate from the Platform Owner, and ought to be treated as presumptively fraudulent and reported forthwith in the manner described in the section entitled "Important Notice for Interns and Candidates".
Certificates are not issued by an accredited academic institution and cannot be relied upon to claim academic credit, university credit transfer or formal accreditation, save where an external institution independently elects to recognise them under its own policies.
19. Authenticity of Projects
The internship programme operates principally upon a trust-based learning model, wherein participants are expected to submit work reflecting their own effort, understanding and implementation. We may undertake basic verification of submissions, but we do not warrant a comprehensive evaluation or academic audit of each one.
By submitting a project, you represent that it embodies your own effort or that you possess appropriate rights in every material, code or resource included therein. Responsibility for the authenticity and legality of submitted material rests entirely with the submitting participant. Should any submission be discovered at any time to contain plagiarised content, unauthorised third party work or fraudulent representations, we may reject it, revoke any certificate issued in respect of it, or suspend the participant's access to internship services.
20. Non-Employment Character of the Internship
The internship programme is a project-based learning experience and does not constitute employment, contractual engagement, partnership or agency between the participant and the Platform Owner, its proprietors, administrators, affiliates or partners. It does not entail wages, stipends, salaries, employee benefits or any form of financial compensation.
Participants enrol solely as independent learners undertaking project-based activities for educational and portfolio-building purposes. Project work completed by participants is regarded as a demonstration of learning rather than the rendering of professional services, and nothing in the programme shall be construed as forming an employment agreement under any applicable labour or employment law.
21. Representation of the Internship on Resumes and Profiles
Participants may reference the completion of the internship in resumes, portfolios, professional profiles and similar materials, provided such references accurately represent the nature of the programme. Descriptions implying employment with the Platform Owner, such as "Worked at" or "Employed by", constitute inaccurate representations.
Acceptable formulations include "Completed a project-based internship programme" or "Participated in a project internship through the Platform", or any comparable wording that faithfully reflects participation in a learning programme. We bear no responsibility for representations made by participants to third parties, and where we become aware of deliberate or repeated misrepresentation of the programme as formal employment, we may revoke certification records, restrict verification services or take such other measures as we deem necessary.
22. No Guarantee of Employment, Career Outcomes or Academic Recognition
Participation in the internship programme, and utilisation of the Platform generally, does not guarantee employment, placement, external internships, freelance work, interviews, professional recognition, career advancement or financial benefit. Employment decisions made by external organisations are entirely independent of the Platform and remain solely within their discretion.
Certificates acknowledge the completion of a project-based programme but are not issued by an accredited academic institution, and ought not to be presumed to qualify for credit transfer, academic recognition or formal accreditation unless independently so recognised by a third party institution.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform Owner, its proprietors, administrators, affiliates and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to, utilisation of, or inability to utilise the Platform, including damages resulting from loss of data, opportunities or business, interruption of service, inaccuracy of content, or decisions founded upon generated outputs.
We shall in no circumstances be liable for any outcome arising from interactions between Users and third parties, including employers, recruiters or external websites linked through the Platform. Where any jurisdiction restricts limitations of liability, our liability shall be confined to the maximum extent so permitted. You acknowledge that this limitation constitutes a fundamental element of the bargain between us.
24. Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and with or without prior notice, to suspend, restrict or permanently terminate your access to the Platform where you are found to have contravened these Terms of Use, applicable law or our policies, or where you engage in conduct that is unlawful, abusive, harmful or disruptive, or where continued access poses a legal, technical or reputational risk.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform shall cease immediately, and data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our retention and deletion practices. Termination shall not limit our entitlement to pursue any remedy available under law, and we shall not be obliged to reinstate access once terminated.
25. Browser Extension: Utilisation and Data
The browser extension is designed to operate in accordance with stringent standards of privacy and security. We do not permanently store the questions, queries, follow-up messages or session conversations submitted through it. Such interactions are processed transiently for the purpose of generating responses, are not retained for public access, resale, profiling or external sharing, and are transmitted through encrypted channels to secure backend infrastructure.
Application programming interface keys issued for extension access are unique to each registered account, and Users bear sole responsibility for safeguarding them. Sharing credentials, exploiting credits, automating abusive usage or distributing access to unauthorised third parties may result in the immediate suspension of extension access.
The extension operates upon a credit-based system, and responsible utilisation is required to sustain service availability. We assume no liability for misuse arising from the voluntary sharing of keys or the intentional circumvention of usage limits.
26. Covenant of Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
This section constitutes a binding confidentiality and non-disclosure covenant applicable to every current, past and future candidate, intern, employee, mentor, contractor and collaborator associated with the Platform Owner (the "Company"). By engaging with the Company in any capacity, such individual (the "Covenantor") agrees to be bound by the stipulations hereunder.
Confidential Information includes, without limitation: particulars of any project, product, codebase, dataset, model, strategy or process to which the Covenantor was exposed or upon which the Covenantor worked; internal communications, business plans, pricing, and client or user data; and any compensation, stipend, salary or remuneration extended to the Covenantor or to any other individual associated with the Company.
The Covenantor shall not, at any time during or after their association with the Company, disclose, publish, share, copy, reproduce or otherwise make available any Confidential Information to any third party, upon any medium, including social media, professional networks, forums or private messaging, without the Company's prior written consent.
In the event of a breach, the Company reserves the right to pursue any or all of the following remedies, at its sole discretion:
- Immediate termination or withdrawal of employment, internship or engagement, with forfeiture of any pending stipend, salary or benefits.
- Payment of liquidated damages of not less than ₹75,000, without prejudice to the Company's right to claim additional damages where actual losses exceed that amount.
- Recovery of all legal costs, attorneys' fees and expenses incurred in enforcing this covenant or pursuing remedies for its breach.
- Revocation of any certificate, letter of recommendation or experience letter issued or promised to the Covenantor.
- Initiation of civil proceedings for breach of contract and, where applicable, criminal proceedings under the relevant provisions of Indian law relating to confidentiality, data protection and trade secrets.
- Maintenance of a permanent record of the breach, which may be disclosed to prospective employers or institutions upon lawful request.
- Any other remedy available to the Company under applicable law. By proceeding with their engagement in any capacity, the Covenantor confirms that they have perused, comprehended and irrevocably consented to every stipulation of this covenant, including the remedies herein described.
27. Important Notice for Interns and Candidates
No Internship Fees: the Company does not charge any fee, deposit or payment of any kind for any internship, whether project-based or departmental, at any stage of application, onboarding, participation or certification.
Departmental Interns: interns working directly within the Company's Software Development, Product Marketing, Administration or Human Resources departments are treated as employees of the Company for the duration of their engagement, and upon successful conversion to a full-time remote offer, are issued an official Company electronic mail identity.
Reporting Fraudulent Solicitations: should any individual purporting to represent the Company solicit payment of any amount, however trivial, from a departmental intern or candidate, the matter ought to be reported immediately to the Company's Human Resources authority or at support@tauzand.in. Such solicitations are unauthorised and may constitute fraud perpetrated in the Company's name.
Commitment to the Internship: internship programmes ordinarily extend over a period of two to three months, during which the Company invests considerable time, mentorship and proprietary training resources. Candidates are expected to complete the full duration agreed at onboarding. Early discontinuation without valid reason and without prior written communication to Human Resources, observing the minimum notice period specified in the onboarding letter, may result in the following:
- Withholding of the completion certificate, experience letter and any letter of recommendation.
- Permanent exclusion from future hiring or programme consideration by the Company.
- The discontinuation and its circumstances being recorded and communicated to the candidate's academic institution or placement cell, where applicable.
- Where the discontinuation involves a breach of confidentiality, misuse of Company materials, or unauthorised retention or use of proprietary resources, the pursuit of civil remedies and the recovery of legal costs as set out in the covenant of confidentiality above.
- Rewards, Vouchers and Goodies: unpaid interns may be awarded performance or milestone-based rewards, including goodies, gift vouchers and food delivery vouchers, at the Company's discretion, on the condition that the agreed internship duration is completed. Where an intern who has received such rewards discontinues prematurely without valid reason and prior written communication, the Company may require reimbursement of the monetary value of rewards already redeemed, calculated at maximum retail price, may adjust such amount against pending dues or documents, and may withhold further rewards. Interns who do not wish to be bound by this condition may opt out of the rewards programme at onboarding, without any effect upon their internship status.
28. Amendments to these Terms of Use
These Terms of Use may be revised from time to time so as to reflect alterations in the Platform's features, legal requirements, business practices or operational needs. Revised terms shall be published upon the Platform with an updated effective date, and it is incumbent upon Users to review them periodically.
Continued utilisation of the Platform following publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Revisions shall not operate retrospectively unless expressly so stated, and certain provisions shall survive termination or account deletion where so required for legal, regulatory or operational purposes.
29. General Disclaimer
The information and services furnished upon the Platform are for general informational purposes only. Resume analyses, compatibility scores and generated content are produced by automated systems and ought not to be treated as professional, legal or hiring advice. We do not guarantee interviews, offers or employment, and any decision you make on the basis of Platform content is solely your responsibility. External hyperlinks and listings are provided for convenience alone, and we neither endorse nor verify third party content or employers.
