By visiting the Platform, furnishing your information or availing yourself of any Service, you acknowledge that you have perused and comprehended this Policy. Should you dissent from it, you are respectfully entreated to refrain from utilising the Platform.

Personal data is collected directly from you when you register, complete your profile, upload material, make a purchase or correspond with us; automatically when you navigate the Platform; and from third parties, such as our authentication provider when you elect to sign in through a third party account, and our payment intermediary upon the completion of a transaction.

You retain at all times the option of declining to furnish information, by refraining from utilising the particular feature which necessitates it. You acknowledge, however, that certain Services may thereby become unavailable to you.

  3. 3. Purposes of Processing

    1. To establish, authenticate and administer your account, and to provision the Services and any Premium Access you have procured.
    2. To analyse your resume and generate cover letters and recommendations, where you expressly invoke such features.
    3. To process payments, issue receipts, adjudicate refund requests and disburse affiliate commissions.
    4. To issue, verify and, where warranted, revoke certificates.
    5. To dispatch transactional communications, service announcements and, subject to your right to opt out, information concerning new features, offers and opportunities.
    6. To comprehend aggregated patterns of utilisation so as to ameliorate the performance, design and content of the Platform.

  4. 4. Lawful Basis of Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you furnish by utilising the Platform and by accepting this Policy, and, where so permitted by law, for certain legitimate uses, including compliance with legal obligations, the response to medical or public emergencies, and the fulfilment of a specified purpose for which you have voluntarily furnished your data without indicating any objection to its use.

  5. 5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We disclose it only to the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes enumerated herein:

    1. Authentication providers, such as Clerk, which administer sign-in and account security on our behalf.
    2. Payment intermediaries, such as Razorpay, which process payments and refunds.

    6. Governmental agencies, law enforcement authorities and courts, where disclosure is mandated by law, or where we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to respond to legal process, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our Users or the public.
    7. A successor entity, in the event of any merger, acquisition, restructuring, change of name or sale of assets, subject to the continued protection of your data in accordance with this Policy.
  6. 6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Platform employs cookies, local storage and analogous technologies to sustain your session, remember your preferences, attribute referrals to affiliates, and comprehend aggregated utilisation. You may configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies; you acknowledge, however, that certain features, including authentication and referral attribution, may thereupon cease to function as intended.

  7. 7. Security Precautions

We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption of data in transit, access controls restricted on a need-to-know basis, and the verification of payment signatures, in order to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is impregnable, and we are accordingly unable to warrant absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials. Should we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we shall notify you and the competent authority in the manner prescribed by law.

  8. 8. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only for so long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or for such longer period as may be mandated by law, including tax and accounting obligations in respect of transactional records.

You may delete your account through the settings available upon the Platform, or by writing to us. Deletion shall result in the irretrievable loss of all information associated with your account, including progress records and Premium Access. We may defer or decline deletion where any grievance, claim, refund, chargeback or investigation remains pending.

We may continue to retain data in an irreversibly anonymised form, from which you can no longer be identified, for analytical and research purposes.

  9. 9. Your Rights as a Data Principal

    2. The right to the correction, completion and updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, much of which you may effect directly through your profile settings.
    3. The right to the erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to any retention mandated by law.
    4. The right to withdraw consent at any time, with an ease comparable to that with which it was given, by writing to us with the subject line "Withdrawal of Consent". Such withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of processing undertaken prior thereto, and may result in the discontinuance of Services for which such data is indispensable.
    5. The right to nominate an individual who shall exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
    6. The right to grievance redressal, as set out in Section 12, and thereafter to approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Where a User has not attained the age of eighteen years, we shall process their personal data only upon the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, and shall refrain from any tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at such User.

  11. 11. Fraudulent Solicitations

We shall never solicit your card personal identification number, one time password, net banking credentials or UPI personal identification number by electronic mail, telephone or message. Should you receive any such solicitation purportedly from us, kindly refrain from responding, report it forthwith to the appropriate law enforcement agency, and apprise us at support@tauzand.in.

Questions and Answers

The following elucidations are furnished purely for convenience of comprehension and shall not supersede, qualify or derogate from the operative provisions set out above.

Do you sell my personal data to advertisers or recruiters?+
We do not, and we have no intention of doing so. Your data is disclosed only to the service providers indispensable to the operation of the Platform, and to an employer solely where you yourself elect to apply for an opportunity.
Is my card or UPI information stored upon your servers?+
It is not. Such particulars are entered directly into the interface of our payment intermediary and never traverse or reside upon our systems. We retain only the identifiers necessary to reconcile your purchase and to process any refund.
What becomes of my resume once I have submitted it for analysis?+
It is processed for the sole purpose of furnishing the analysis you have requested and is retained within your account so that you may track your improvement over time. You may delete it whenever you wish, and it is never shared with any employer without your express election.
May I see the information you hold about me?+
Most certainly. Much of it is visible within your profile and settings. For a comprehensive summary, kindly write to support@tauzand.in, and we shall furnish it after verifying your identity, a precaution we observe solely for your own protection.
If I withdraw my consent, shall I lose access to the Services I have paid for?+
We would never wish to place you in such a dilemma without explanation. Where the data in question is indispensable to a particular Service, its continuance may become impracticable, and we shall apprise you candidly of any such consequence before acting upon your request, so that you may decide with full knowledge.
Why does the Platform use cookies, and may I decline them?+
Cookies keep you signed in, remember your preferences, ensure that creators who referred you are fairly credited, and help us comprehend which features are of value. You are entirely at liberty to decline them through your browser, though certain features may thereafter function imperfectly.
What would you do in the regrettable event of a data breach?+
We would act with urgency to contain it, investigate its cause and remediate it, and we would notify you and the competent authority in the manner prescribed by law, with as much transparency as the circumstances permit.
