Tauzand FAQ

Question 1

What is Tauzand?

Accepted Answer

Tauzand (tauzand.in) is a career platform for software engineering students and freshers in India. It brings three things together in one place: Company Wise DSA & Prep for company-wise placement preparation, a free open source contribution program with verified certificates, and a curated IT jobs board for freshers.

Question 2

Who is Tauzand built for?

Accepted Answer

Tauzand is built for engineering and computer science students (B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc) and freshers in India who are preparing for campus placements, off-campus hiring, internships or their first software engineering job. It does not have features meant for senior roles.

Question 3

How is Tauzand different from other career platforms?

Accepted Answer

Tauzand is made only for students and early-career engineers. DSA questions are tagged to the companies that actually asked them, the open source program puts students on real production code with mentor reviews, and job listings link straight to company careers pages with no agencies in between.

Question 4

Is Tauzand a registered company?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tauzand is registered under Startup India and operates under UDYAM (MSME) registration UDYAM-BR-26-0222297 as an India-based software and AI enterprise. It is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and serves students across all Indian states.

Question 5

Does Tauzand use AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tauzand uses AI to help curate company-wise interview content and to match freshers with relevant IT job listings.

Question 6

What is Company Wise DSA & Prep?

Accepted Answer

Company Wise DSA & Prep is Tauzand's company-wise placement preparation platform at tauzand.in/DSA. You pick the company you are preparing for and practise the DSA questions it has actually asked, grouped by pattern, with a priority list for last-minute prep and progress tracking. It is built on previous year questions (PYQs) from real coding interviews, updated frequently.

Question 7

How many companies does Tauzand DSA cover?

Accepted Answer

Tauzand DSA covers 100+ top IT companies, including product companies, startups, unicorns and MNCs such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Netflix, Adobe, Oracle, Flipkart, Infosys, TCS and Wipro. Lists are updated frequently. Questions are tagged company-wise and topic-wise with Easy, Medium and Hard levels.

Question 8

How is Tauzand DSA different from LeetCode?

Accepted Answer

LeetCode has thousands of problems but no company-specific study plan, so you build your own. Tauzand DSA is company-first: every question is tagged to the companies that asked it, and problems are grouped by pattern so you learn to solve variations instead of memorising single answers.

Question 9

How long does it take to become placement-ready with Tauzand DSA?

Accepted Answer

Most students become placement-ready in 8 to 12 weeks with the pattern-first plan on Tauzand DSA. It is self-paced, so you can go faster or slower based on your schedule.

Question 10

Does Tauzand DSA cover service companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tauzand covers service companies (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra) as well as product companies (Google, Amazon, Meta). Service company rounds usually test Easy to Medium problems on arrays, strings and basic trees, while product companies go deeper into graphs and dynamic programming.

Question 11

What should I do if my interview is in 2 or 3 days?

Accepted Answer

Open your target company on Tauzand DSA and use its Priority Questions list, which ranks questions by how often that company asks them. Focus on the company's top patterns instead of random problems. 3 to 5 hours a day of focused practice is usually enough to cover the most likely questions.

Question 12

What is the Tauzand open source contribution program?

Accepted Answer

The Tauzand open source program (tauzand.in/open-source) lets students and freshers work on real Tauzand production code with mentor guidance. You pick a 30, 45 or 60-day track, work on real tasks, submit your work for review, and get a verified certificate once it is approved.

Question 13

Is the Tauzand open source program free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Tauzand open source program is completely free. There are no registration fees, no certificate fees and no hidden charges. Selection and progress are based only on the quality of your work.

Question 14

Question 17

Can open source contributions lead to an internship or job?
